GOD is HOLY and He loves righteousness and abhors wickedness.

1.  All people are sinners.  Sin is all the wrong things we do before God.

Romans 3:23 ALL have sinned. Adultery, fornication, pornography, lying, stealing, pride, greed and love for money, religion without Christ, sodomy(sexual immorality), disobedience to parents, unthankfulness, abortion, blaspheming(cursing  God), racism(disliking other ethnicities), oppression of the poor and stranger(foreigner),  and despising GOD and Christ are all SINS. 

 

2. There is a punishment for sin and sinners because we have offended GOD with our sins. Proverbs 11:21  The wicked shall not be unpunished.

  

3. The punishment for sin and sinners is  hell. Psalms 9:17  The wicked shall be turned into hell.

 

4. But Jesus took the punishment for sinners at the cross so that we would not have to be punished, and so that we could be freed from the power of sin, and LIVE FOR GOD, and not for SIN. Romans 5:8  While we were yet sinners Christ died for us. At the Cross God treated Christ just as if he had sinned, that he might treat sinners just as if they have never sinned. 

 

5. Repent(a turning of the heart from the love of sin to loving Christ, an inward grief over your sins against GOD, a change of affections) You must REPENT by God's power.   Luke 13:3. 

Believe(believe that Jesus   died, was buried, and rose again to take away the punishment for your sin and the power of your sins)   Acts 16:31. You must BELIEVE upon Christ ALONE by GOD'S power. 

 

6. If God has worked in your heart to repent and believe upon Jesus Christ will you kneel down in prayer and confess to God that you repent and believe that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again to take away the punishment for your sins? God will change your life by His saving grace ALONE!
