The Evangelist was saved at the age of 21 years old, while kneeling next to his bedside he cried out to God and was saved by grace alone. It is his burden to preach the gospel for God's glory. 

Julie Tripp, his wife, was saved at an Evangelistic Crusade in her home country of the Philippines.
